WASH-N-WAX
One-Step Cleaner and Wax for Automotive Finishes

Cleans and waxes in one operation. Use on any automotive-type finish - - lacquer, enamel, acrylic, etc... Removes soil and simultaneously distributes a uniform coating of a paraffin-hydrocarbon which dries with a water-repellant gloss on which water forms beads as on any waxed surface. This coating also promotes quick drying by causing water to run off in sheets.

Hand Washing

Use at least one ounce per gallon of water for good gloss. For heavy soil conditions, increase concentration as needed up to a maximum of 6 ounces per gallon.

Use at least 2 gallons of diluted solution per car, proportionately more for larger vehicles.

Wet down with water the surface to be cleaned, apply detergent solution to the wet area and wash with mitt, brush or wash mop. Rinse while still wet and let air-dry.

Pressure Washers

Wash-N-Wax may be used for spray washing with pressure washers, but for the removal of heavy soil, must be supplemented with some type of surface agitation.

The detergent solution delivered to the surface should contain from 1 to 6 ounces Wash-N-Wax per gallon of water depending on seasonal temperature and soil conditions. In charging solution tank, make certain that the concentration of detergent in the solution tank is increased by the dilution ratio of the equipment. Example: If the pressure washer dilutes the solution-tank mixture with 19 parts water, the concentration of detergent in the solution tank must be 20 times the use-dilution desired at discharge.

Power-Brush Washers

Wash-N-Wax is not recommended for this application because all power-brush washing operations have facilities for separate washing followed by a pressure rinse. A better job can be done by injecting the wax into the final rinse. See Instawax and Hot-Spray Wax following.

Clear, amber liquid. Moderate foam. Mild odor. Non-Flammable. Biodegradable. Moderate viscosity. Non-irritating to normal skin; hands may be immersed in use solutions.
