Quaternary Ammonium Chloride
For Use in Water Cooling Towers

Hydratone #2793 prevents the accumulation of organic matter in water. It keeps water clear, improves heat transfer, and eliminates slime and malodors. It is particularly important in re-circulating systems.

Quantity Required
Initial Treatment

If water is clear or only slightly turbid……	Use 1:5000 water
If water is turbid, slimy, or malodorous……	Use 1:2000 water

Add anywhere in the system where it will mix thoroughly. Initial treatment may increase the quantity of suspended matter in the water; this indicates that Hydratone #2793 is cleaning the system. Removes suspended matter by skimming or cleaning filters.

Within one week, water should be clear, slime-free, and odorless. If not, repeat initial treatment until desired water quality is secured.

Regular Treatment

Once a week, normally, add Hydratone #2793……

Use 1:10000 water

In hot weather, or if normal make-up water is added to the system, more Hydratone #2793 may be required. If water starts to become cloudy, add Hydratone #2793 at 1:10000 water TWICE a week until problem is corrected.

Hydratone #2793 is compatible with all common corrosion inhibitors & water treatments. But DO NOT mix with most cleaners; all soaps and most detergents make it ineffective.

DANGER!
Keep out of reach of children. Corrosive. Causes severe eye and skin damage. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing; use goggles and rubber gloves. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Avoid contamination of food. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water before discarding. This product is toxic to fish. Treated effluent should not be discharged where it will drain into lakes, streams, ponds, or public waters. Use Hydratone #2793 only as specified above.

FIRST AID
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, call physician. Wash all contaminated clothing before re-use. If swallowed, drink milk or egg whites or gelatin solution; if these are not available, drink large quantities of water. Call a physician.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN
Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion may be needed.
