WAXSTRIP #75
Wax Remover

Contains No Ammonia
Works With Or Without Scrubbing

Removes all water-emulsion floor finishes and waxes including metal-interlock products with high resistance to detergents. In most cases, scrubbing is not necessary -- when mixed with water and applied to floor, chemical action alone will liquefy old finish or wax in about 5 minutes. Also removes many, but not all, water-base seals; a test is required.

Use on asphalt tile, vinyl tile, rubber tile, linoleum, terrazzo, magnesite, slate, travertine, marble, concrete, quarry tile, ceramic tile, brick, stone. A test is recommended before use on “poured” solvent-and-resin matrix floors or on wood floors.

Directions

Dilute in water to suit the job. The dilution required depends on the type of finish, number of coats, length of time finish has been down and number of times floor has been spray-buffed. Rinsing may or may not be required depending on thoroughness of pickup. Waxstrip #75 will evaporate completely and leave no residue on the floor. The user's experience in recoating with or without rinsing after using his/her normal procedure is the best guide. If in doubt, rinsing is recommended.

To Remove Without Scrubbing
Normally, use 1 part Waxstrip #75 to 3 parts water. Apply solution to floor with a string mop, with enough that the floor is very wet. Let stand about 5 minutes and then remop to assure that old finish is liquefied. Let stand another 3 minutes and pick up. For thorough pickup, use a wet vac or an autoscrubber; if not available, pick up with wet mop. Rinse if needed. Let dry before recoating.

To Remove With Scrubbing
Normally use 1 part Waxstrip #75 to 10 parts water. Apply solution to floor with string mop, autoscrubber, or floor machine with a solution tank. Let stand about 5 minutes and scrub with a suitable brush or pad. For thorough pickup, use a wet vac or an autoscrubber; if not available, pickup with a wet mop. Rinse if needed. Let dry before recoating.
